In Transit to Taha'a
Taha'a, known as the Vanilla Island for their production of vanilla, shares a lagoon with the island of Raiatea. In transit to Taha'a, we first landed in Raiatea Airport and then took a boat transfer to our resort. Along the way, we saw spectacular views of the lush green island with canopy trees, colorful pearl farms, cultured vanilla plantations, and small tranquil villages. On a sunset cruise to Le Taha'a, and with Bora Bora in the background (last picture), our journey to this island couldn't have had a more seductive beginning.
