Tikehau Village

Tikehau village is a place where the inhabitants greet you warmly with Bon Jour where ever you go and happy chicken families run free amongst the garden like surroundings. Two streets form the heart of this rustic sea side village. There is exactly two small stores, one resturant, one bakery and one post office that is open from 9am to 11am. There the trees are plentiful with coconuts and bread fruits, and life is serene, slow and beautiful. The ocean pictures below are of the sea from the Pacific side where the waves crash against coral beds that form the lagoon.
